Idaho Unit 69 — free Idaho hunting map

Unit 69 is an Idaho Game Management Unit in the Southeast region. Its boundary on HuntTrack comes from Idaho Fish & Game GIS unit data, the same layer already drawn on the live map, alongside USGS PAD-US land ownership, county parcel ownership, Idaho Recreation Trails routes and iNaturalist wildlife sightings.

Scouting Unit 69

Southeast Idaho pairs the Bear River and Wasatch ranges with broad agricultural valleys. Mule deer are the headliners, with elk in the higher timbered ranges. It is a transition zone: mountain hunting on the ridges, field-edge hunting in the valleys. Fall weather swings hard here, and the first real snow often flips deer movement overnight. Watch the forecast as closely as the map — a storm during your week can be the best thing that happens to the hunt.

Key species here: Mule deer, Elk, Whitetail deer.
