Idaho Unit 68 — free Idaho hunting map

Unit 68 is an Idaho Game Management Unit in the Magic Valley region. Its boundary on HuntTrack comes from Idaho Fish & Game GIS unit data, the same layer already drawn on the live map, alongside USGS PAD-US land ownership, county parcel ownership, Idaho Recreation Trails routes and iNaturalist wildlife sightings.

Scouting Unit 68

The Magic Valley blends Snake River Plain agriculture with lava-desert rangeland around Craters of the Moon. Mule deer key on the seam between irrigated fields and native desert, and pronghorn roam the open flats. Access is a checkerboard puzzle here — public parcels stitched through private ground — so the parcel layer on the map earns its keep. Glass field edges at dawn and dusk, and always confirm you can legally reach the public ground you are looking at before you commit to it.

Key species here: Mule deer, Pronghorn, Upland birds.
