Every boundary, parcel line, ownership label, road classification, access designation and hunt-unit perimeter shown in HuntTrack is a graphical approximation derived from third-party data. Nothing displayed here is a survey, a title document, or an authoritative determination of property lines, public access rights, or lawful hunting areas.

Data is generalized and simplified for display. Lines may be offset by hundreds of feet, parcels may be missing, mislabeled or out of date, and land may change ownership or management status without the map reflecting it.

You are solely responsible for knowing where you are and whether you may lawfully be there. Before entering, crossing, hunting, harvesting, camping, or operating a vehicle on any ground, you must independently confirm land status and access with the county assessor and recorder, the managing agency (for example the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, Idaho Department of Lands, or Idaho Department of Fish and Game), posted signage, and the landowner.

You are equally responsible for complying with all applicable seasons, tags, unit rules, weapon restrictions, motorized-travel rules, road and area closures, fire restrictions, and trespass laws.

HuntTrack is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or available in the backcountry, and we do not guarantee that any third-party data source will remain accessible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuntTrack and its operators, contributors and data providers are not liable for any claim, citation, fine, forfeiture, arrest, prosecution, civil trespass action, loss of hunting privileges, property damage, personal injury, or death arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, this map — including any instance where a boundary line, ownership label, access designation or route classification proves to be incorrect.

This limitation applies to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, and punitive damages, regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Because HuntTrack is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is zero.

Cellular coverage, GPS accuracy and battery life are unreliable in remote country. HuntTrack must not be used as your only means of navigation or emergency communication. Carry a map, compass and appropriate emergency equipment, and tell someone your plan.

Accounts are optional and free. Pins, lines and areas you save are stored so you can retrieve them, and you are responsible for the content you create. We may remove content that is unlawful or abusive. We do not sell your saved marks, and you should keep your own backup of anything important — we cannot guarantee against data loss.

HuntTrack displays data from public sources including USGS PAD-US, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, the Idaho Department of Lands and county parcel services, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, iNaturalist, OpenStreetMap and its contributors, and satellite imagery providers. Those datasets remain subject to their own licenses and terms, and their accuracy is outside our control.

Do not use HuntTrack to harass landowners or wildlife, to locate animals for unlawful take, to scrape or resell the underlying data, or in any way that violates federal, state, tribal or local law. We may suspend access for misuse.

HuntTrack is under active development and these terms may change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

If a boundary looks wrong, tell us. Reports of incorrect ownership, access or unit lines are the fastest way to make the map safer for everyone.
